Die Pins
These die pins are reverse die pins and stay in the base rather than the die.
They are placed into a drilled refractory investment model. After pouring the base, the pinned model is inverted onto the base. When separated, the pins remain in the base.
They are also used to provide additional support to single pin dies and can be used to make the base removable from the articulator.
